From being “boss” of the Lemonade stand at age 5, to making $1000 a week in 8th grade selling baseball cards, to striving to be the greatest wine connoisseur at age seventeen, Gary Vaynerchuk has spent his life making a name for himself.

Vaynerchuk has been an entrepreneur since the beginning. When a particular wine was named Spectator’s Wine of the Year, Vaynerchuk, whose job was stocking shelves, was inspired by a customer who introduced him to collecting wine.

He has been passionate about it ever since by launching a website called corkd.com. Which serves as a platform for people who like wine. He also has a show on Youtube where he critiques wine. He admits he has edited Wine Library TV with imovie from the beginning up to today.

Vaynerchuk states, “The fact that every person in this room can paint their picture to the world, without some jerk-off gatekeeper in the middle telling you if your writing is good enough, or your video is good enough, or your mole on your cheek is not “good for America,” is the reason he wrote his book “Crush It!”

He does not measure his success by how much money he is making, or how many people know his name. Vaynerchuk stands by the idea that if you are not happy with what you are doing then you are stupid. He loves what he is doing and that is what makes him successful.
