Question: What effect has the downturn in the US economyhad on you?

Answer: "Less money coming into the home. Fewer opportunities like job opportunities out there for other people, friends, and family.

Question: How have you adjusted?

Answer: "A lot less extra items, like snacks for the kids. Switched to buying bulk rather than just buying for the week, and we've changed some eating habits such as far as how much red meat we buy, and we don't go out as often."

Answer: "Kinda sucks, I have to get money from my parents, and I have to spend my money very very wisely. I don't really have money to do anything extra outside of school."

Question: What do you think should be done to help people during these difficult financial time?

Answer: "If they can't work full-time, get two part time jobs, save money, just don't blow your checks every month. Save your money and be wise about it."
